FOH Shift Supervisor

Overview

Steelhead Bar & Grille is currently hiring full time Front of House Shift Supervisor positions.

Steelhead Bar & Grille offers casual dining with a Northwest flair. Locally owned and in downtown Spokane, we cater to locals and tourist alike. Our customers come from all walks of life and from all over the world.

We are looking for staff members that have the desire to bring our customers the best possible dining experience. Our staff is professional, fun and understands what it means to provide quality food and service. They have their own unique style and flair.

Whenever possible, Steelhead Bar & Grille makes every effort to promote local businesses and bring locally sourced, Northwest inspired flavors to the table.

Wage

• Pay range for position: $17.13 to $19.00 per hour
• Earn tips

Responsibilities/Duties

• Follow all policies and procedures
• On time and attend all meetings
• Oversee front of house team during scheduled floor shifts ensuring that all store operations are running smoothly
• Engage with guests during floor shifts with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction
• Hold staff accountable for maintaining a high standard of service by following service standard guidelines
• Assist in controlling inventory and preparation levels to minimize overstock and waste
• Maintain and oversee cleanliness, organization and proper maintenance of facilities
• Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
• Keep staff informed on new developments and upcoming events

Skills/Experience

• Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC)
• Washington State MAST/Class 12
• Two (2) years minimum management experience
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends
• Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs
• Strong work ethic, reliable, aware of the details
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• Team player with a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Proven leadership and motivational skills
• Display a professional appearance and is a positive role model within the restaurant
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent guest relations skills with high guest satisfaction expectations and focus
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft) and office skills required
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
