Make an immediate impact in the lives of students with two exciting contract roles supporting children requiring special education services. These positions are conveniently located near Allendale, SC. Openings include a Self-Contained classroom for K-2nd graders with a caseload of 8 students, as well as a Resource classroom serving middle schoolers with a caseload of 15 students. Both roles offer you the opportunity to collaborate with fellow educators and inspire students at crucial learning stages.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current state certification in Special Education or eligibility to obtain
• Experience working in K-2nd grade or Middle School preferred (depending on position)
• Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities
• Familiarity with individual education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to tailor instructional methods for diverse learning needs
• Adaptability, teamwork, and a commitment to student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instructional programs based on IEPs
• Provide a supportive and structured environment for students with varying needs
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Conduct group and one-on-one instruction
• Attend required meetings and professional development sessions
