$1033.60/week - Job Summary: Provide patient care support by preparing patients for exams and procedures, assisting healthcare providers, and maintaining clinical accuracy. Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and operational standards within a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities: Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including obtaining vital signs and medical histories. Assist physicians with testing, procedures, and specimen collection, processing, and documentation. Perform EKGs, administer injections, and support patient mobility and transportation. Maintain exam rooms, sterilization standards, and manage supplies and equipment efficiently. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality service. Support workflow improvements, train new staff or interns, and assist with pre-certifications as needed. Qualifications: Demonstrate at least 18 months of Medical Assistant experience. Possess EPIC Electronic Medical Records system knowledge (highly preferred). Show strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Be highly motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced setting. Hold valid credential as a CMA or MA. Completed HIPAA and PennChart training prior to start date.
