About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year current acute care ICU RN hospital experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1 year current acute care ICU RN hospital experience. BLS, ACLS & NIH certifications are required. Description: This position is for a Rapid Response RN with a commitment to patient care. Candidates must possess critical thinking skills and be able to perform under pressure. The unit has a patient ratio of 2:1, with an estimated but not guaranteed workload. Typical procedures performed include moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management. Familiarity with certain equipment and EMR systems is preferred. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to work well in teams. A willingness to be coached and to learn in a fast-paced environment is essential. Candidates with prior experience in large trauma facilities may be prioritized. Successful candidates will exhibit teamwork and a readiness to support their colleagues.
