Franklin General Hospital is seeking full-time and/or part-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are passionate about providing compassionate care in a close-knit, rural hospital setting. Franklin General Hospital and Franklin Country View long term care is a rural facility with:
- 25 acute care beds
- A primary care clinic
- A 52-bed nursing facility, average census is 36 non-skilled care, patient to resident ratio is 1:10

As a CNA, you'll:
- Provide individualized physical, emotional, and social support
- Assist with daily living activities (dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Record vital signs, weights, and assist with specimen collection
- Report changes in patient condition to supervising nurses
- Be a trusted, compassionate presence in the lives of our patients and residents
Qualifications:
- Current CNA license in the State of Iowa
- Ability to perform physical tasks typical of CNA work
- A passion for nursing and patient care
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
Work Schedule:
- PRN, as needed - Flexible shifts to meet needs of department
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8 hr days
- Part-time: 32 hrs a week, rotating weekends
