Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.10 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report policy violations or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel. Support Allied Universal and site leadership with routine reporting, incident documentation, and other security-related duties assigned for the location. Minimum Requirements Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
