Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

Radiology Ltd., a 500 employee imaging company is seeking a full time Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. Hours are 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday. The location of the position is on the East Side of Tucson.The CCMA will provide assistance to radiology staff including radiologists, nurses and technologists in a fast paced team environment.Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:Prepare patients for exams and coordinate patient flowMonitor patients post procedure including vitals.Interview patient prior to exam and provide accurate documentation for nurses, physician extenders, technologists and radiologistsAids in providing patient education for scheduled examsMonitors suppliesMaintains patient confidentialityExperience and Other Requirements:We are seeking candidates that have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the following attributes:Customer service oriented with excellent communication skillsExcellent multi-tasking skills and adaptability to a busy workflowAbility to work on a team and seek out where help is neededResponsible, reliable and empatheticProficient in Windows based PC applicationsPrior medical office experience helpfulActive CPR certificationMust be a CCMAHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITIONWe offer full benefits including medical plans with matching HSA, a free dental plan, low cost vision plan, free life insurance, 401(k) pension plan, paid time off, short- & long-term disability, free telemed service as well as other work site benefits!
