Position Summary As a Solutions Sales Consultant , you will serve as a trusted advisor to credit unions, developing deep relationships with executive and operational leaders to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology needs. Rather than focusing on transactional sales, you'll take a consultative approach, uncovering opportunities, providing strategic recommendations, and aligning solutions that deliver meaningful business outcomes. Success in this role requires strong relationship management skills, business acumen, and the ability to balance sales growth with long-term client partnership development. Key Responsibilities Grow Synergent revenue by selling Synergent’s Symitar Core Processing Services to new credit unions and by expanding the scope of Synergent Solutions used by existing Synergent credit union partners. Build and strengthen trusted relationships with credit union executives and key stakeholders. Serve as a strategic advisor by understanding client goals, challenges, and technology environments. Utilize a consultative sales approach to identify needs, uncover opportunities, and recommend value-driven solutions. Drive revenue growth by developing and advancing new business opportunities aligned with client objectives. Lead discovery conversations, assessments, presentations, and solution discussions. Collaborate with internal teams and technology partners to ensure successful client outcomes. Maintain discipline in pipeline management, forecasting, and execution. Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture through knowledge sharing and mentorship. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Three or more years of experience in consultative sales, business development, account management, technology consulting, or a related customer-facing role. Demonstrated success building long-term client relationships and influencing decision-makers. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to assess business needs and develop strategic recommendations that create value for clients. Previous credit union industry experience and/or Symitar core processing experience is a plus.
