Must-Have: Highly competent in surgical and procedural experience. Experience in patient types including inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and procedural cases across all age ranges.

Description: This position is part-time, requiring a commitment of 40 hours biweekly. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center with a high acuity of patients. The unit has 5 diagnostic beds, 2 fluoroscopy rooms, and additional specialty rooms. Average census is 15-20 patients per tech per day. The required license is from the state, and applicants must possess BLS certification. Skills essential for this role include proficiency in surgical and procedural imaging, general radiography, and portable imaging. Candidates should be familiar with fluoroscopic procedures such as ERCPs, bronchoscopies, and pain clinic procedures. Experience in operating rooms, specifically ortho, general, and spine cases, is preferred. Department support includes a lead tech on the first shift and radiologists on site 24/7. There are 14 techs on day shifts, 7 on second shifts, and 3 on third shifts. The department operates around the clock with hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7. Technology used includes EMR systems and specific imaging equipment from various manufacturers. The schedule includes a weekend rotation every other weekend and one on-call shift per week. Holidays require working one holiday per contract. Shift times are flexible based on staffing needs. Surgical scrubs are provided in-house. The unit culture is fast-paced with a high acuity of patients.
