Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role is key in coordinating and implementing patient care within various units, particularly focusing on ensuring quality and safety in line with the standards of care. As a clinical practitioner, the Registered Nurse will demonstrate performance in sync with the mission and goals of these units.

Key responsibilities of the Registered Nurse Float Travel include:

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish priorities according to patient needs.
• Re-assess patients systematically to track progress requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on Nursing Standards of Care.
• Make nursing decisions based on patient outcomes, modifying plans as necessary.
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning.
• Implement and document interventions based on patient needs.
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures as required.
• Utilize communication strategies for effective unit outcome.
• Delegate and coordinate unit work assignments to ensure patient care support activities.
• Participate in orientation and serve as a resource for new staff/students.
• Promote a positive work environment and unit development.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse Float Travel include:

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• TNCC Certification
• CPI/De-Escalation Certification
• NIH Certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications from AHA
• Additional certifications may be required based on unit assignments
