Facilities Manager

Our Facilities Manager is tasked with making sure that our facilities support and accommodate our ministry needs. Whether that is accomplished through hands on work or coordination depends on the specific scenario and date. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: Schedule and Set-Up Room Usage: Monitor mastercalendar of events to ensure availability of space. Confirm receipt of needed event information (number and type of tables, seating needs, time of event, contact information and special needs such as white board, a/v, or additional trash cans.) Coordinate or ensure completion. Develop and Maintain Departmental Objectives: Create a digital calendar of ongoing and periodic maintenance required and ensure that items are accomplished in a timely manner. Facilitate Building and Grounds Repairs/Maintenance: Work with the Operations Director toobtain information about needed repairs. Work with vendors, staff and volunteers if needed to complete repairs and maintain equipment. Purchase Supplies: Research and purchase customer consumables, cleaning supplies, maintenance supplies and other items as needed for projects. Ensure Campus Safety: Coordinate with vendors to plow, shovel and salt parking lot and walkways in time for next scheduled event. Clear debris and take measures to minimize tripping hazards. Oversee pest control services. Maintain Vehicles: Fuel, clean, schedule maintenance, schedule repair work and state safety inspections. Ensuring vehicles are ready and available for use. Custodial: Work with Operations Director to ensure cleaning standards are executed daily by cleaning company. Supplement with cleaning as needed. Support CCDC: Replace needed supplies, clean-up accidents, purchase supplies, provide maintenance assistance and facilitate room set-up. Support Food Pantry: Facilitate daily trash/recyclable removal and floor mopping three times per week. Ensure lock-down of building during pantry hours. Assist with deliveries. Assist Church Ministries: Coordinate with ministry leaders and work to ensure successful endeavors. Provide On-Call 24/7 Response: Receive calls at all times for any building emergency and respond appropriately. #J-18808-Ljbffr Westminster Theological Seminary
