Make a Difference at Lincoln Pediatric Dentistry We are looking to hire an experienced Dental Assistant who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in the Pediatric Dental field. This is an excellent opportunity to use all your expanded functions! This position would be based out of our four Lincoln-based practices. Who We Are We have built our practice around one main principle compassion. We show compassion to our patients, their families and to each other. Our offices are open Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8am-12pm. We have four locations throughout the Lincoln area and our staff is like family to us. Who We Are Looking For Someone with Dental Assisting experience. A great communicator that wants to make a difference in our patients care. Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is a team player. Eagerness to learn and provide extraordinary care to our patients. Responsibilities Present the patient to the doctor. Clean the patient's teeth. Fluoride application Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic). Provide hygiene and diet education. Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office or hospital. Take impressions. Schedule follow-up exams. Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately. Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms. Parents consults-discuss treatment plans. Clean and sterilize instruments. Lab work. Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area. Help decorate office for birthdays and holidays. Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines. Write letters to be sent to referrals.
