This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing public and private companies, private equity sponsors, investors, and entrepreneurs in sophisticated mergers & acquisitions and corporate transactions. Ideal Background
- 3-5 years of large law firm corporate transactional experience
- Experience with sophisticated mergers & acquisitions transactions, corporate governance matters, and general corporate transactions
- Experience representing public companies, private companies, private equity sponsors, or strategic investors preferred
- Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and other transaction documents
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage transaction workstreams and work directly with clients
- Desire for significant responsibility and client interaction
- Excellent academic credentials
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
- Georgia bar admission required or ability to become admitted
- Sophisticated M&A and corporate transactions platform
- Significant client interaction and responsibility
