Academic Internal Medicine Physician - Core Faculty | Kansas City Area

Overview Seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join a growing academic program in the Kansas City area as an Academic Attending / Core Faculty member. This is a unique opportunity to help build a newly accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program while balancing clinical care with teaching and mentorship. Responsibilities Faculty appointment based on experience Work alongside residents and medical students in inpatient and outpatient settings Mix of inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing care Inpatient schedule: 7 on / 7 off Outpatient schedule: Monday–Friday Shared call schedule with approximately 1 in 4 weekends for inpatient rounding Active role in teaching lectures, didactics, and curriculum development Provide mentorship and evaluation of residents and students Participate in program development and evaluation Research opportunities available with dedicated support Qualifications MD or DO degree Board Certified in Internal Medicine Interest in academic medicine, teaching, and mentorship Strong clinical and communication skills Commitment to program development and resident education Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Bonuses offered: Sign-on bonus Stipend opportunities Quality-based incentives Relocation assistance Additional performance incentives Comprehensive benefits package Support for professional development and career growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
