Clinical Investigator Opportunity

Inglewood Clinical is part of the Irvine Clinical Research site network, the largest of its kind on the West Coast. With 5 research centers in California, we are leaders in the search for new treatments in neurology, psychiatry, and obesity medicine. Our largest area of research is in Alzheimer's Disease prevention and treatment drug trials, and our doctors were the largest contributors in the world to the most recently FDA-approved medication in Alzheimer's Disease.

We are hiring a clinical investigator--either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)--to join our Inglewood Clinical / Westside Los Angeles team. The clinician will oversee and conduct clinical trials of some of the most promising drugs under investigation in Alzheimer's Disease treatment and prevention, driving clinical excellence at our rapidly growing site.

Job Duties

• Lead study team as a Sub-Investigator, ensuring trials are conducted safely and per protocol
• Conduct clinical intake interviews to determine medical eligibility of potential study participants
• Manage the safety of study participants; respond appropriately to adverse events in a timely manner
• Perform and oversee infusion, phlebotomy, physical exams, and other assessments
• Work closely with our team of doctors and study coordinators

Job Requirements

• Valid license to practice in California as an NP or PA-C, free and unencumbered
• Experience working with older adults in a clinical or research setting
• Clinical research experience is preferred, but not required
• A command of professional spoken and written English

$125,000 - $140,000 a year This is an in-person employment position (full-time or a minimum of 20 hours per week). The primary, day-to-day location for this role is our Inglewood Clinical / Westside Los Angeles site in Ladera Heights: 5120 W Goldleaf Cir, Ste 250, Los Angeles, CA 90056 While this role is anchored at our Westside LA hub, opportunities or future requests for occasional cross-coverage, regional training, or split-site support at neighboring network locations may arise based on broader network growth and pipeline demands. There are no planned overnight or weekend hours. Salary: The starting range for this position is $125,000/yr ($60/hr) to $140,000/yr ($67.31/hr). A higher starting salary within this range is available for candidates who are current or previous sub-investigators in pharmaceutical clinical trials in neurology and psychiatry. Insurance: The company pays for 100% of health, dental, and vision individual insurance costs for eligible full-time employees. Paid Time Off: Vacation (PTO) is earned at a rate of 3 weeks per year.
