Position Overview

Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate physical therapy services across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in a vibrant regional community of the Pacific Northwest. This role involves implementing treatment plans designed by primary physical therapists, ensuring patient-centered care that adapts to various diagnoses and age groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to unit-based safety and infection control protocols.
• Execute treatment plans for diverse patient populations, ensuring effective and up-to-date therapeutic interventions.
• Uphold professional standards of conduct and ethics, meeting productivity goals and engaging in continuous professional development.
• Provide education to patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to support holistic care.
• Assist in supervising staff members, students, and volunteers as appropriate.

Qualifications

• At least one year of overall experience preferred.
• Home Health experience of one year is advantageous for home health department roles.
• Experience with aquatic therapy is highly desirable for wellness center positions.

Licenses and Certifications

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of California.
• Current driver's license and auto insurance required for home health roles.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire, preferably American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.

All candidates must successfully complete a physical evaluation, urine drug screening, and pre-employment background checks prior to starting employment.
