Patient Service Representative (Registration)

On-Site: Intermountain Primary Childrens Hospital Taylorsville UT

Schedule:Sunday Monday & Tuesday: 6:00AM-6:30PM

As a Patient Registration Representative you willbe the first point of contact for patients ensuring they receive fast compassionate andaccurateaccess to care .

This is more than registration itsa frontline healthcare customer service role where you directlyimpactpatient experience hospital operations and revenue cycle success.

WhatYoullDo:

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with the check-in processworking across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently

• Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly in a fast-paced environment

• Support timelyaccess to care by minimizing delays in registrationand answer questions with confidence clarity and compassion

• Build trust with patients during moments when they may be ill anxious confused or overwhelmed

• Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details enter demographics and medical data collectco-paysand provide cost estimates when applicable

• Collaborate with nurses physicians and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to pass background check drug test and meet vaccination requirements

Individual pay is determined by role level location job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
