Family Nurse Practitioner near Myrtle Beach South Carolina

A Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner is sought to deliver comprehensive outpatient care for patients of all ages. The NP will focus on preventive health, chronic disease management, and acute care services, while coordinating care with specialists as needed. Position Overview

• Outpatient-only clinical role (no inpatient responsibilities)
• Standard office hours:
  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
• Protected administrative time: 4.5 days clinic / 0.5 day admin per week
• 36 patient contact hours / 4 administrative hours
• Minimal call shared on a 1:7-1:8 rotation
• Cerner EMR
• Dedicated support: a personal nurse and access to medical assistants

Patient Volume & Population

• Average daily volume: 18-22 patients
• Patient census: Primarily adult and geriatric, with some pediatrics
• Mixed rural/suburban population
• Common conditions: hypertension, diabetes, chronic disease follow-up, acute issues, wellness exams

Visit Types & Procedures

• Sick visits, chronic disease follow-ups, annual physicals, acute care
• In-office procedures may include:
  • Minor dermatologic procedures
  • Joint injections
  • Skin biopsies
  • Routine vaccinations
  • Women's health screenings
