Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support core accounting functions and help ensure accurate financial reporting. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling complex accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end close, and supporting audits and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsLead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activitiesAnalyze financial results and investigate variancesMaintain general ledger accuracy and support financial statement preparationReconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactionsAssist with fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and amortization schedulesSupport external audits and provide required documentationHelp ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsPartner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processesAssist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed
