Antone’s Famous Po’ Boys is a Houston tradition known for great food, friendly service, and a commitment to quality. We are looking for a dependable, energetic  Hourly Restaurant Supervisor to help lead our restaurant team and support successful day-to-day operations.
Position Summary
The Hourly Restaurant Supervisor is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supporting daily restaurant operations, providing direction to team members, and helping ensure our standards for food quality, guest service, cleanliness, safety, and productivity are consistently met.
This position works alongside the restaurant team while also providing shift leadership and operational support. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, comfortable leading others, and willing to step in wherever needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to employees during assigned shifts.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Help ensure employees are prepared and positioned appropriately for the shift.
• Monitor guest service and help resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support food quality, portioning, presentation, and service standards.
• Monitor restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety practices.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and operating standards.
• Assist with employee training and provide coaching and direction during the shift.
• Monitor employee attendance, breaks, and timekeeping during assigned shifts.
• Help maintain appropriate staffing and workflow based on business volume.
• Assist with cash-handling and register procedures as assigned.
• Communicate operational, staffing, maintenance, or employee concerns to restaurant management.
• Help maintain proper inventory, stocking, and product availability.
• Support compliance with health, safety, and food-handling requirements.
• Perform restaurant duties alongside team members when needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned by restaurant management.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, foodservice, retail, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Previous lead, shift leader, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to provide direction and work effectively with a team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to remain organized and professional in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to identify problems and escalate issues appropriately.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing and walking throughout the shift and may require bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and moving restaurant supplies or products. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
