Position Overview

We are looking for a Neuroimmunologist to enhance our comprehensive Neuro-Immunology Service at our medical center. In this role, you will provide top-tier, multidisciplinary care for patients dealing with multiple sclerosis and autoimmune neurological disorders, including neuroinfectious diseases with immune-related consequences. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations.
• Implement and manage disease-modifying therapies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address patient needs, focusing on symptom management, rehabilitation, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Engage in ongoing research and clinical trials to enhance neuro-immunological care.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen interest in clinical trials, neuro-infectious immunology, autoimmune neuro-immunology, and multiple sclerosis, along with related disorders.

The Neurology department is a vibrant and collaborative group of clinicians specializing in various neurology subspecialties, offering both outpatient and inpatient services. We are committed to excellence in clinical care, research, and education, with divisions in Cognitive Neurology, Critical Care Neurology, Movement Disorders, Neuroimmunology, Neuromuscular, and Vascular Neurology.

Research Based

Our research initiatives have a significant impact on patient care and outcomes. The department is involved in numerous NIH- and industry-sponsored research projects, as well as investigator-initiated studies. Clinical research coordinators are dedicated to supporting IRB, trial, and registry operations. The incoming neuroimmunologist will have the opportunity to lead and participate in clinical trials and related translational research programs.

Education

Our faculty members are full-time academic staff at a prestigious medical school and are actively engaged in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The new neuroimmunologist will play a role in educational initiatives and mentorship.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Neuro-Immunology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
