Contract | Travel | Days | 13 Weeks | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Projected Start: 08/31/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrub and/or Circulator RN across an 18-room operating suite supporting a wide range of surgical specialties
• Perform and assist with procedures including spinal fusion, total joint replacements, orthopedic trauma, and DaVinci robotic-assisted surgeries (prostatectomy, colectomy, gastric bypass, and more)
• Support surgical specialties including orthopedics (general, total joint, and spine), neuro, general/GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, Surgical Techs, Charge RNs, and Service Line Experts
• Participate in on-call coverage, including weekends and nights to cover vacancies (approximately four 12-hour shifts per 8-week schedule)
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Level 2 or greater trauma experience required — candidates without this will not be considered
• BLS certification required ; additional certifications aligned with role, state, and federal regulations (e.g., CST or equivalent) as applicable
• Must be a team-oriented professional comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Expert-level spine and orthopedic surgical skills strongly preferred
• Experience with DaVinci robotic surgical platform
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Ability to float to OB OR as needed
