Position Title: Facility Maintenance Manager

Reports To: Director of Human Resources

\n

Location: Urbana, Ohio

\n

Job Type: Full-Time

\n

Hours: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday. reg schedule.

\n

However, you may be required to work outside of these hours, including other days and times, based on business needs.

\n

\n

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

\n

\n
• Organize and maintain OEM equipment manual library
\n
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on plant equipment and facility
\n
• Support telephone, surveillance, and alarm systems
\n
• Contracts and waste removal
\n
• EPA bulbs, LED and Neon light repairs
\n
• Maintenance Budgeting
\n
• Responsible and accountable for facility maintenance at Urbana buildings and other company facilities as needed.
\n
• Direct the work of the facilities maintenance technician and facilities janitor.
\n

Safety

\n

\n
• Perform Monthly and Annual safety checks- emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, door batteries, sprinkler systems, etc.
\n

\n

\n

Parts Procurement

\n

\n
• Purchase tools, building materials, cleaning supplies as needed
\n
• Keep kitchen and showroom supplies stocked as needed
\n

\n

\n

Building Maintenance

\n

\n
• Schedule Maintenance
\n
• Perform preventative maintenance at Water St.
\n
• Replace and repair lights at Water St.
\n
• Check and record fire extinguishers and egress lights at Water St.; repair and replace as needed
\n
• Service museum animatronics and vending machines
\n
• All outside building maintenance
\n
• Winterization of all systems
\n

Equipment Maintenance

\n

\n
• Schedule maintenance
\n
• Perform maintenance at Water St.
\n
• Make sure all SDS books in facilities areas are current and updated.
\n

\n

\n

Surveillance, Security, Alarm Systems

\n

\n
• Issue Keys and alarm codes to authorized personnel at Water St., Synova, Mansfield, and PG New England
\n
• Troubleshoot and repair, or schedule work on alarm systems
\n
• System training
\n
• Look up users’ and camera history to help determine the source of problems when they arise
\n

\n

\n

Phone and Data Communications

\n

\n
• Maintain all contractors, vendors, and clients for scheduled service
\n
• Run phone and data lines for new offices and changes at Water St.
\n

\n

\n

Requirements

\n

\n
• 5 yrs Maintenance management
\n
• 5 yrs contractor management
\n
• Very personable, good attitude, willing to do what needs to be done.
\n
• High School diploma or equivalent
\n
• Must have computer skills
\n
• Qualify for forklift operation
\n
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
\n
• Able to climb and work at various heights
\n
