Idaho National Laboratory's SMC Logistics/Material Controls Department is hiring a Warehouse Manager to lead their team! This position will work a 4x10 schedule with every Friday off out of our Specific Manufacturing Controls (SMC) facility at the site.

Responsibilities Include:

• Directly supervise and direct daily operations of the SMC Material Warehouse team within the Materials organization to accomplish logistics related tasks while complying with applicable environmental, safety, health, security, and quality requirements for the SMC Project. Primary functions will include warehouse storage and organization, Material Excess, Government Property control, Tool Crib, and material receiving functions.

• Provide a work environment that demands work be performed safely and encourages personal growth of all employees in logistics.

• Champion and lead the Conduct of Operations, Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS), and Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) efforts.

• Qualify as a SMC Warehouse Foreman. Perform duties of a DOT Supervisor. Supervise rolling stock activities to include various sizes and styles of forklifts, straight trucks, and tractor trailers.

• Perform the duties of the SMC Logistics Manager in their absence. Perform the duties of the SMC Material Support Manager in their absence.

• Maintain a safe work environment by utilizing hazard recognition to ensure all hazards associated with assigned areas of responsibility have been identified and appropriately controlled.

• Ensure compliance and adherence to established procedures and familiarity with policies and procedures relating to the shipping/transportation, warehousing, waste generation and handling, government property management, and in-process inventory control.

• Train and motivate subordinates in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures.

• Ensure the principles of the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) are applied to all work and the documentation of a well-trained and qualified workforce.

Minimum Requirements:

• MR0100: Bachelor's Degree in a related field with four or more year's relevant experience in an operations facility or 12 years relevant experience in lieu of the bachelor's degree.

• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

• Salary Grade: MR0100 - 210 ($93,492 - $154, 212)
