About the Opportunity
Insight Global is seeking a Utilities Support Specialist to join one of our leading utility, engineering, and AEC clients in Richmond, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin or grow a career in the utility, telecommunications, or construction industry while gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced field professionals.
In this role, you will support utility and telecommunications infrastructure projects, assist field teams with daily operations, and gain exposure to a variety of projects that provide valuable industry experience and long-term career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Support utility and telecommunications infrastructure projects in the field
- Assist crews with daily project activities and site preparation
- Work alongside experienced team members to learn utility construction and telecommunications best practices
- Support project teams in maintaining schedules and completing project milestones
- Assist with a variety of infrastructure and construction-related projects
- Help maintain organized and safe work environments
- Learn industry standards, tools, and processes used across utility and telecommunications projects
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to support project success
Required Qualifications
- Strong interest in utilities, telecommunications, construction, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to work outdoors and in field environments
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
