About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years inpatient nursing experience required; 6 months telemetry experience required; travel nurse experience required; med surg telemetry experience required. License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state required. Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS Required; Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training course required. Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required; BSN highly desired; Cerner EMR experience required. Description: Must live 100 miles away. Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients' needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients. Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Completes admission assessments in the time frame established, according to policy and procedures.
