Autism Center of Nebraska (ACN)Location: Omaha, NEJob Type: Full-Time, Part-TimePay: $20.00 to $23.00 per hourLead Quality and Compliance at ACNThe Autism Center of Nebraska (ACN) is seeking a dedicated and experienced QA Technician to join our leadership team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of service quality and regulatory compliance.As a member of ACN's leadership team, the QA Technician works collaboratively with agency leaders to support ACN's mission while promoting continuous improvement, and positive outcomes for the individuals we serve.Position SummaryThe QA Technician provides oversight and leadership in quality assurance, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, human and legal rights, and investigations. This role is responsible for monitoring service quality, ensuring compliance with state regulations and contracts, and supporting management teams across all program areas.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & ComplianceDirect and oversee agency-wide quality assurance and quality improvement activities.Conduct on-site quality assurance reviews of agency programs.Oversee DD Service Review Overview processes.Complete and monitor Liberty QA Task Analysis Reviews.Ensure compliance with state regulations, agency policies, certifications, and contractual requirements.Oversee certification review processes to ensure agency-wide compliance.Manage and monitor Maximus-related quality assurance requirements and reporting.Investigations & Incident ManagementConduct and oversee internal investigations involving allegations of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or other compliance concerns.Review, monitor, and analyze General Event Reports (GERs).Complete Quarterly GER Trend Reports and identify opportunities for quality improvement.Facilitate High GER resolutions and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are completed.Human Rights & AdvocacyFacilitate Human and Legal Rights (HLR) Committee meetings and activities.Promote and protect the rights of individuals receiving services.Ensure person-centered practices and informed choice are consistently upheld throughout the organization.Quality Improvement & Organizational DevelopmentDesign and administer agency surveys to gather feedback from individuals served, families, guardians, and staff.Analyze trends and data to identify opportunities for service improvement.Collaborate with program leadership to implement quality improvement strategies.Remain current on best practices in developmental disability services and quality management.Leadership & AdministrationServe as a member of ACN's leadership team.Provide consultation related to individualized habilitation and person-centered supports.Keep the Executive Director informed of significant trends, concerns, opportunities, and outcomes.Represent ACN on committees, workgroups, community events, and professional organizations.Promote a positive image of ACN within the community and among stakeholders.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field.Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities.Minimum of three (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience.Ability to legally work in the United States.Ability to pass all required background checks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to attend off-site meetings, trainings, conferences, and events.Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities.Experience with quality assurance, compliance monitoring, and regulatory oversight.Knowledge of developmental disability service delivery models.Familiarity with Nebraska DD regulations, licensing requirements, and funding systems.Experience conducting investigations and developing corrective action plans.Desired Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team-building abilities.Excellent organizational and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Commitment to person-centered services and human rights.Ability to develop positive working relationships with staff, families, community partners, and state agencies.Attention to detail and commitment to compliance and quality improvement.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and management teams.BenefitsWe value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time team members, including:$600 Hiring BonusCompetitive wages based on experienceExcellent Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off (PTO)Sick TimeOpportunities for growth and advancementWhy Work for ACN?At ACN, you are more than just an employee, you're an important part of a team dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
