We are hiring a Relief Cook to join our dietary team at our Clifton campus; 2120 Payne Street.

What We Need You To Do:
The Relief Cook plays an important role in preparing quality meals for residents, guests, and staff while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and committed to excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
Cook Duties
- Prepare and cook all food items according to recipes and production sheets.
- Complete daily prep work and prepare items needed for the following day.
- Take and record food temperatures accurately.
- Manage time effectively to ensure meals are ready and served on schedule.
- Clean and sanitize all work areas.
Food Service Aide Duties
- Stock and maintain kitchenettes on resident units.
- Take and record temperatures as required.
- Serve meals according to each resident's diet plan.
- Buss and reset the dining room promptly.
- Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning tasks.
- Perform daily sanitation duties throughout the kitchen and service areas.
Qualifications We Are Looking For:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two to three years of experience in cooking in a long-term health care setting
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification, preferred
