Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description

The warehouse worker is responsible for moving inventory or equipment, filling customer orders, and maintaining the upkeep of the warehouse. This role involves receiving, placing, and returning items into stock inventory locations, as well as pulling and assembling orders based on work or shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Move materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas using forklifts, side loaders, or cranes.
• Operate yard truck for loading and unloading trailers.
• Maintain work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, or product code.
• Conduct spot checks on inventory and complete daily and ad hoc checks for proper tagging of material.
• Report any irregularities to supervisor for direction.
• Restock material as needed.
• Occasionally drive a motor vehicle (non-DOT truck) for local deliveries and parts pick-ups.
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to meet current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) quality criteria as defined by Federal regulations and/or company policy.
• Clear oral and written communication skills with legible handwriting.
• Manual dexterity, finger dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and multi-limb coordination.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions as applied to work situations.
• Basic measurement skills including taking, converting, and/or using measurements of length, width, height, and weight.
• Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on a combination of factors including knowledge, experience, and judgment.
• Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with supervisors and co-workers.

• Forklift operation certification is a plus.
• Experience in warehousing and material handling preferred.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of O'Fallon, MO.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in O'Fallon,MO.
