Primary Responsibility: Under the direction of the Customer Service & Warehouse Manager, responsible for ensuring our products are shipped in a timely manner.
Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Receive and record incoming orders while checking for damage & weight discrepancy
- Pick and process orders to be shipped
- Utilize RF scanners in order to process
- Process orders via UPS, FedEx, and Freight
- Follow proper procedures for hazardous material shipping, safety, and housekeeping
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping pallets, boxes, and stacked items in proper locations and removing empty boxes, pallets, and shrink film from the warehouse
- Operate material handling equipment – hand jacks, seated forklifts, and standing forklifts
- Help train other members of the shipping team
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
Previous warehouse/material handling experience
Forklift certification or ability to become certified
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to drive a forklift or become certified
Computer skills for shipping UPS, FedEx, and freight
Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
Team player, but able to work with minimum guidance
