Our client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Medical Assistant for their Seattle, WA location.

Responsibilities:

Authorization Forms
Chart Preparation
Insurance Verification
Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests
Scheduling appointments*
Stocking Supplies
Telephone Triage
Professional Knowledge and Skills
Follow up phone calls
Rooming Patients
Vital Signs
Height/Weight
Obtain Vital Signs
Pulse Oximetry
Specimen Collection
Labeling of specimens
Urine - UA/Clean Catch
Wound
Prepare for Exam
Record History/Medications/Allergies
Laboratory Tests
Urine Dipstick/Urinalysis
MA-C Required. Normal MA duties; collecting vitals, rooming patients, setting up rooms, supporting Providers, etc.

Requirements:

Years of Experience: 2 year(s)
Charting System: Required, Epic
Certfications:BLS
Skills marked with * are preferred
Work Settings
Adult Outpatient Clinic
Years of Experience REQ: 1
Certs REQ: BLS, MA-C
Skills REQ: healthcare, healthcare terminology.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? As Needed Within Skillset
Interdisciplinary Support:Interpretation Services, Unit Secretary
Patient Diagnoses: Chronic pain, degenerative diseases, addiction medicine
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Standard rooming (obtain, ht, wt, vitals), charting, answering provider pools in Epic (mychart). MA's do POCT Utox in clinic.
