Job Title: Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room is responsible for delivering perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This includes preparing the operating room, assisting with surgical operations, and monitoring patient recovery post-operation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care for a wide variety of surgical procedures including neuro spine and large head and neck cases.
• Assist with DaVinci robot cases, ex lap surgeries, and trauma cases.
• Float between all operating rooms as required.
• Maintain a set schedule, participating in on-call and holiday rotations as needed.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in a level 1 trauma center with strong scrub experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Kansas, with current AHA BLS certification.
• Previous travel RN experience preferred, with exposure to ortho, general, trauma, gyn, urology & plastics cases.
• Able to attend both classroom and nursing orientation sessions, and submit all credentialing requirements one week prior to the start date.
