Radiographer - 40h Days

Under Radiologist supervision and following established protocols, the radiologic technologist will perform a variety of procedures using standard and specialized X‑ray equipment. Responsibilities include C‑arm procedures in operating rooms and pain clinics, injection and fluoroscopy procedures, and coverage of on‑call and holiday shifts. Schedule Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Regular hours are 8:30 am–5:00 pm. Technologists are required to cover on‑call and holiday shifts, and per‑diem technologists may be required for holiday coverage. Required Skills, Qualifications, Training, and Experience Minimum 1–2 years of radiologic technologist experience Competent in routine radiologic procedures and operating‑room skills Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills Ability to slide patients on and off X‑ray stretchers to X‑ray tables and to push and pull objects greater than 20 lbs during the day Ability to push and pull stretchers holding patients of various weight and body habitus Preferred Skills, Qualifications, Training, and Experience Experience in an acute‑care hospital setting Synapse/PACS experience Previous experience with Cerner Educational Requirements Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology Associate’s degree in radiologic technology License and Certification ARRT certified Licensure in radiology from the state of Massachusetts Physical Demands Use hands to control objects, operate controls; stand or sit for long periods; repeat the same movements; walk or run for long periods; bend or twist body; hold arm and hand in one position while moving the arm; make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls; use fingers or hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects; move two or more limbs together while remaining in place; speak clearly and understand speech of another person; use core muscles to support body for long periods without fatigue. Age‑Specific Criteria Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position. Performance Expectations Must perform essential functions without posing a direct threat to health and safety of self or others, with or without reasonable accommodation. Salary Range Salary range: $31.87 – $49.13 per hour. Compensation will consider work history, experience, skill set, and education.
