Refrigeration Engineer

Refrigeration Engineer Location: Midlands / North West / Yorkshire Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum (DOE) We are seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to cover the North West, Yorkshire, and the Midlands. Our client is a well‑established refrigeration and process engineering company specialising in the design, installation, service and maintenance of heavy commercial and light industrial refrigeration systems for the food production, bakery and brewery sectors. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications Planned and reactive maintenance, service, fault finding and repairs on cold rooms, freezer rooms, air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers. Visiting sites across food production, bakery and brewery sectors. Travel across the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands; live in the Midlands, North West or Yorkshire. Hold Fgas Category 1 licence. Full UK driving licence. Available for a one‑in‑six on‑call rota; will receive £200 retainer and overtime rates for callouts. Good knowledge of refrigeration instrumentation, control systems and safety regulations. Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills in cold storage and chillers. Benefits Door‑to‑door travel paid. Ongoing overtime at 1.5 × and 2 × rates. Up to £5,000 bonus paid quarterly against KPI’s. 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
