About the job Industrial Millwright - 3rd shift Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble, Install, maintain, and repair mechanical related equipment and fixtures in accordance with code compliance using hand and power tools. Moving machinery and equipment using hoist, lift trucks, etc. Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment. Inspect systems to identify hazards, defects for adjustment and repair. Troubleshoot for proper mechanical operation of equipment and ensure safety systems, guarding, handrails, etc. are in place and functional Communicate across various levels of the organization to achieve departmental goals. Collaborate with manufacturing team to ensure production conformity. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, uses and repair/maintenance. Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved to make equipment repairs including the ability to use either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes. Visualization of how something may look after it is moved or when its parts are moved o Ability to read blue prints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (i.e. patterns of numbers, letters, words pictures or mathematical operations). High school diploma or GED. Journeymen Certificate or equivalent. OSHA ARC Flash Training. Heavy manufacturing electrical experience preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Advanced Worker
