Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Equipment
We're hiring a Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment in both shop and field environments. This role offers consistent work on a variety of machines with opportunities to grow your technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the shop and field
- Service major components including engines and transmissions
- Maintain accurate service records and follow safety standards
Essential Skills:
- 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience (heavy equipment preferred)
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Experience reading manuals and schematics
- Valid driver's license and strong safety awareness
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CAT or similar heavy equipment
- CDL is a plus
- Fleet maintenance and recordkeeping experience
- Comfortable using diagnostic tools and software

Job Type & Location: This is a permanent position based out of Elkhorn, NE.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr. Competitive wages insurance: health, vision, dental, and life 401k with matching contribution training annual boot allowance.
Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position in Elkhorn, NE.
