Description:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week.
• Flexible floating required to areas such as Psych ED and Pediatric ED (caring for age 15+ patients unless with previous pediatric experience).
• Required Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Level I or II Emergency Department experience and/or 2+ years of recent Level 3/4 Emergency Department experience.
• Must have the ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips, identify heart blocks, and pass a Telemetry Test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher.
• Preferred Experience: EPIC, previous travel assignments, critical care experience.

Required Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

All certifications must be active and unexpired.

Patient Ratio:

• 1:4-5 patients, depending on acuity.

Department Details:

• A very busy Emergency Department with up to 120 treatment areas.
• Serving 350-440 patients per day.
• Note: Travelers will not be placed in trauma rooms during assignments.
