Description We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Burn Surgery and Trauma Surgery. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality medical care to patients requiring specialized treatment for burn injuries and trauma cases. You will be involved in a variety of challenging and rewarding projects, contributing to the well-being and recovery of individuals in need of urgent medical attention. Responsibilities: Perform surgical procedures on patients with burn injuries and trauma conditions. Evaluate and manage patients in the emergency department and intensive care unit. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Provide post-operative care and follow-up consultations for patients. Participate in teaching and training programs for medical students and residents. Conduct research and contribute to academic publications in the field of burn and trauma surgery. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Attend departmental meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Requirements: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification in General Surgery with a focus on Burn Surgery and Trauma Surgery. Valid state medical license and DEA registration. Proven experience in managing complex burn and trauma cases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
