Position: Part-Time X-Ray Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technician to join our team for a part-time position. This role requires the individual to work overnight shifts on weekends.

Job Details

Shift: Night 3x10-Hour (22:00 - 08:30)
Assigned Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
Total Staff Beds: 59
Scrub Color: Any color (provided for certain units)
Charting System: Epic

Responsibilities

The X-Ray Technician will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures, including but not limited to:

Abdomen (decubitus, supine, upright)
Chest (AP, lateral decubitus)
Trauma imaging (lower and upper extremity)
Portable procedures
Specialized imaging (e.g., myelography, arthrography)
Radiation safety practices

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience required
ARRT certification is required
Experience with community hospital settings preferred
Compact state license must be active upon submission

Schedule Requirements

The candidate must be available to work three 10-hour shifts overnight from Friday to Sunday.

Additional Information

This position does not require on-call duty.
Weekend shifts are mandatory.
