Senior Director, Global Head of Pricing

Insulet is seeking highly motivated and performance-driven individuals to enhance its Global Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) capability and support its expanding global presence. The Senior Director, Global Head of Pricing will be responsible for driving Insulet's global pricing vision, strategy, governance, insights, and operational execution across all markets for both current and pipeline assets. Reporting to the VP of Global HEMA, this role will lead the global pricing team, ensuring alignment and effectiveness in pricing strategies.

Responsibilities include owning the design of globally-led payer and pricing research, acting as a senior subject-matter expert and internal consultancy resource, collaboratively co-driving the development of global pricing and access principles, exploring innovative funding, contracting, and pricing arrangements, synthesizing and communicating the impact of external developments on pricing regulation, driving the implementation of updates to the Insulet global pricing governance, developing decision-support tools and processes, coordinating and driving the design, development, and conduct of pricing analytics, leading the global pricing team, and driving the pricing acumen across the Insulet access community and the overall enterprise.

Key decision rights include preparation and content of Global Pricing Council Meetings, content and approach used in globally-led pricing research initiatives, insights generation and development of Global Pricing strategy recommendations, development and content of pricing architecture and decision-making support tools, recommendations formulated by the global pricing team, and definition, roll-out, and performance tracking of pricing KPIs and dashboards/reports/analytics across markets.

Education and experience requirements include a Bachelor's degree in financial/business or related discipline, minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in a pricing and/or financial-focused role in the pharma/biotech/medtech industry or consultancy, proven track record in designing qualitative and quantitative pricing research, prior leadership experience in strategic and operational pricing of pharmaceutical/medical technology products, demonstrated understanding of global strategic and operational pricing-related activities, familiarity with pricing systems, price master data, and advanced analytics tools, proficiency in financial analysis, and excellent project management skills.

Preferred experience includes experience with tender/IRP markets and designing or implementing performance/outcomes-based contracting, past or present (pricing-related) experience in the field of diabetes or cardiovascular diseases, track record of leading high-performing global teams, experience in pricing policy shaping and external stakeholder engagement, and a Master's degree.

The position is hybrid/in-person at our office in Acton, MA or London, UK with a preference for a US-based location. Domestic/International travel is estimated at 20% but will flex depending on business need.

Compensation & Benefits:

For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $221,300.00 - $331,925.00. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
