Our 2nd shift is 2:45 pm-12:45 am, with a $ 2-an-hour shift differential.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES*** Programming, setting up, and operating OKUMA CNC Machine Centers.* Operate both overhead and jib style cranes.* Operating fork trucks and other power equipment.* Ability to operate all machines in a safe and productive manner.* Inspection of finished parts using precision measuring tools (ex. Calipers, micrometers,)* Performing required preventative maintenance.* Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve production efficiency* All other duties assigned.**QUALIFICATIONS*** 2 Year CNC machinist degree and/or previous work experience as a machinist.* Set-up and operate one of the following machines: (Okuma Mill/Okuma VTM)* Read and interpret prints without supervision and/or direction.* Experience with Master Cam program.* Experience with SolidWorks program.**WORK ENVIRONMENT**Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals.
