TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Peds Med/Surg RN in Kansas City, Missouri, 64108!

Job Title: Pediatric Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year travel experience required License: Must be licensed to work in Missouri and Kansas (or compact) Certifications: PALS and BLS required Must-Have: Behavioral/psychiatric and med-surg experience required; pediatrics preferred Description: Med/Surg/BH Pediatric RN needed. 3 openings available. Experience in behavioral and psychiatric care is necessary. Candidates must be willing to care for patients with behavioral health needs. Our unit specializes in offering high-quality, short-stay care to a diverse pediatric population. Conditions treated include appendectomies, tonsil and adenoidectomies, viral illnesses, and ingestions requiring medical clearance. We also address behavioral health concerns with underlying medical needs. The unit provides a fast-paced and supportive environment. Nurses gain experience across a wide range of acute and transitional conditions. Compassionate, patient-centered care is a priority. Most travelers will float between facilities. Only AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are accepted. RN positions require possession of both Missouri and Kansas licenses. Documentation of license application must be provided if needed. A medication and dosage test will be administered in the first week. A minimum passing score of 100% is necessary with three attempts provided.
