TX-Camp Hoblitzelle - Midlothian, TX 76065 End Date: 06/12/2026 Overview Position Type: Per Diem | Education Level: N/A | Category: Camp About this opportunity: As the Camp Office Specialist your role will be to perform a variety of clerical and secretarial work necessary for the smooth operation of the camp office. Working closely with the camp team, you’ll assist with camp registrations, administrative duties, and more. Key Responsibilities Processes a variety of routine paperwork necessary for office operations. Files and records information. Answers the telephone and provides general information regarding the office operations and/or services. Processes incoming/outgoing mail. Collects and processes fees for camp bookings. Support and participates enthusiastically as a team member in overall camp programming, special events, and evening activities as part of a collaborative staff team. What we are looking for in you A high school graduate or GED preferred. A heart for others and a mind towards Christ. Should be self-motivated and teachable. 2 years experience performing clerical work in social services environment preferred, OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in record-keeping and bookkeeping practices and procedures. A willingness to abide by The Salvation Army doctrinal statement and Camp Hoblitzelle’s policies. CPR & First Aid certified or capable of passing by June 15, 2026 (training provided by Camp Hoblitzelle during staff training if needed). Must be able to pass a state and federal background check. Additional Information Camp Staff Training will be held June 3–June 14, 2026, and participation is required. The 2026 summer Camp program sessions will be held June 15 - July 26, 2026.
