Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Neuro MedSurg Acute for a travel assignment in Illinois. This role is ideal for a dedicated RN with Level 1 trauma experience and previous travel assignments. The unit focuses on patients with conditions such as stroke, spine surgery, and brain injuries.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: 8/4/2025
• Facility Type: Acute
• Shift Details: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Every other
• Floating Requirements: General unit traveler floats to general unit
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: No specific scrub color; tattoos covered, no piercings besides ears
• Charting System: EPIC
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with stroke, spine surgery, brain tumors, and related neuroscience conditions
• Titrate heparin drips based on PTT
• Float to various units as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL license or application initiated
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with Level 1 trauma and prior travel assignments
• Experience in a dedicated neuro unit
• Heparin gtt experience
• Negative drug screen for all panels
