Float Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist for the Dallas/Fort Worth area to perform blood collections across multiple clinical sites. The role involves specimen collection, patient data management, and travel between facilities with flexible scheduling Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing information and collect patient payments as needed
- Travel between client locations and patient service centers for coverage
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Age 21 or older
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- 2+ years phlebotomy experience in clinical/hospital setting (preferred)
- 1+ year experience with all patient age groups (preferred)
- Reliable transportation for travel within 75+ mile radius
