Job Description

Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT and X-Ray, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The role requires adherence to safety and quality standards while providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures including CT scans and X-Rays with precision and attention to detail.
• Prepare patients for imaging examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, following established protocols and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and patient information.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic results.
• Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies, including on-call and rotating weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified by the ARRT in Radiography and CT scanning.
• Possess current BLS certification.
• Have prior training or experience in CT and X-Ray imaging.
• Demonstrate strong communication and patient care skills.
• Be flexible with variable shifts, including on-call and weekend rotations.
