Assistant Manager
A privately-owned, full-service, specialty upscale casual restaurant is seeking an Assistant Manager.
As an Assistant Manager, you would report directly to the General Manager. You are responsible for all operations in a full service restaurant, including marketing, catering, team scheduling, sales goals and results. You will also maintain a clean, sanitary, safe and positive, team-oriented work area in a fast-paced environment, while providing superior guest service.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Responsible for some financial (cash handling, submitting invoices, reporting results, etc.) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties
- Establish and maintain appropriate staffing levels; maintain personnel files; develop staff
- Check and maintain all service areas for proper set-up and cleanliness; maintain proper supply and inventory levels
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items and be able to make recommendations
- Assist the General Manager and other managers
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a full service restaurant manager preferred
