The Straight Truck Driver is responsible for independently handling the transportation of goods on local and regional routes with daily trip schedules. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle upkeep, and effective communication with customers to ensure timely and secure delivery of cargo.

Responsibilities

• Navigate assigned local and regional routes safely
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
• Manage delivery schedules to meet deadlines
• Maintain accurate records of trips and deliveries
• Monitor fuel usage and manage refueling
• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
• Follow all traffic regulations during operation

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of truck driving experience
• Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
