As a Software Architect Sr within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Farmers Branch TX. Target State Definition Define and evolve the future-state data vision (platforms, flows, capabilities) Identify gaps between current and target state and guide roadmap priorities Technical Leadership Bring strong depth across data platforms, pipelines, cloud, and integrations Provide technical guidance and guardrails, not detailed architecture ownership Drive reusable, platform-first mindset vs point solutions Problem Solving & Solution Shaping - Ensure alignment to enterprise patterns (data domains, medallion layers, etc.) Cross-Team Influence Work across engineering, data, product, and business teams Align stakeholders on direction, trade-offs, and sequencing PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. Job Description Leads in the overall design of cross-functional, multi-platform, and Web-based application systems; oversees all application system processes. Develops application architecture and blueprints aimed at reflecting enterprise business logic. Defines application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools. Directs mapping activities on specific technology platforms. Provides technical guidance to application development teams. Consults on integration and conversion activities. Conducts reviews, and analyses organizational needs and goals to develop and implement applications.
