What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient emergency care at a community ED handling over 30,000 patients annually
• Cover shifts ranging from 6 am to 1 am in a flexible, variable schedule
• Participate in trauma and acute care, including stroke activation and cardiac procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Document patient encounters accurately using EPIC EMR system
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including stroke and trauma cases
• Maintain licensure and adhere to facility protocols and standards

What You Need

• Active, unrestricted medical license in Washington
• Valid DEA registration
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of emergency medicine experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

About the Assignment

Join a community-based emergency department with 22 beds and a dedicated team of board-certified physicians. The facility operates as a level 3 trauma center, supported by tele-stroke physicians and a 24/7 cardiac cath lab. Shifts are 10 hours long, with coverage starting in September, and an incentive for night shifts is available.
